Your Imex Laser level is covered by our 12-month warranty against defective workmanship or faulty parts commencing on the date that the product was purchased.
Extended warranties are available on Line lasers and Rotating lasers if registered.
2. PROOF OF PURCHASE
Please retain this form and a copy of your receipt as proof of purchase. This receipt must be presented when making a claim.
Subject to sub-clauses in Terms, Imex warrant that the Imex Product will be free from inherent defects in materials and workmanship for the term. The Warranty ceases if:
3a – The original serial number is removed or tampered with.
3b – The Imex Product is repaired, serviced or interfered with in any way other than by an approved Imex repairer.
3c – The Imex Product is damaged by;- droppage, accident, misuse, failure to keep free of dust and water, incorrect operation, leaking batteries, incorrect battery voltage, usage outside specified temperature range or use for which the Product wasn’t designed.
3d – The Imex product is rented out.
4. RETURN AND REPAIR
4a – If a claim is made the Customer at their expense will return the product, along with a purchase receipt to the store of purchase or to a dealer as requested by Imex.
4b – Imex at our discretion will repair or replace the Imex Product and return to you at our expense.
4c – If in Imex’s opinion the Imex Product fault is not deemed to be covered by the Warranty because of circumstances detailed in Clauses 3a-3d, you will be liable for replacement costs, parts, labour or transport costs incurred.
Please note that calibration is not covered by any warranty. It is the user’s responsibility to check calibration as described in the instruction manuals. A re-calibration service is available.
